Installing Hardware Options Removing the Access Panel WARNING: To avoid risk of injury or damage to the equipment from hazardous energy, the access panel must remain secure during normal operation, or the server must be installed in a controlled access location and serviced only by qualified personnel. To remove the access panel: 1. For tower-model servers only, complete the following steps to prepare the server for the removal of the access panel: a. Remove the front bezel door by opening the door fully and lifting the door up and away from the server chassis. Figure 3-5: Removing the front bezel door b.
