Library SCSI-3 Command Set Reserve(10) Command (56H) Reservation Identification Identifies each element reservation with a code word byte. Third Party Device ID A third-party device ID indicates identification of the SCSI device the library is to be reserved for. Element List Length Defines the size in bytes of the element list. Reserve Command Element List Descriptors Each element list consists of zero or more descriptors. The element list descriptor defines a series of elements beginning at the specified element address for the specified number of elements. If the number of elements is zero, the element list begins at the specified element address and continues through the last element address on the unit. However, if the Element Address is a transport device (a picker) or an unused Element Address, a status of Check Condition, Sense Key = Illegal Request is returned.
