SCSI Command Overview Library Control Commands Command Complete 00H, The target sends a message to the initiator to indicate that a command operation is complete (or series of linked commands) and that valid status has been sent to the initiator. After successfully sending this message, the target goes to the Bus Free Phase by releasing BSY (Busy). If the library receives the Command Complete message, it will do the following: 1. Handle the message as an illegal message. 2. Return MESSAGE REJECT. 3. Enter the status phase by reporting CHECK CONDITION with the sense key set to COMMAND ABORTED. Extended Message 01H, The initiator or target sends this message as the first byte of a multiple-byte message (> 2 bytes). The extended message has the following format: Byte 0 Byte 1 Byte 2 Byte 3 Extended Message Identifier - 01H Extended Message Length Extended Message Code Extended Message Additional Parameters Chapter 1 1- 7
