EXPOSURE screen (continued) Menu item IRIS DETECT IRIS AREA SHUTTER Function/variable range Default value Used to change the set value of the detection level of auto iris. NORMAL: normal position PEAK: detects the peak brightness level for better view of highly bright objects. AVG: detects the average brightness for better view of objects. NORMAL Used to set the detection area for auto iris. Set according to the user requirement. FULL SQUARE SPOT CIRCLE FULL Detection area Detection area Detection area MEMO Detection area When selecting the detection area, the area is actually dis- played on the screen. At this time, the auto-iris will not func- tion. Used to set the shutter mode. STEP: the shutter speed can be changed using the SPEED submenu item. V.SCAN: used to clear the horizontal line noise when re- cording a PC monitor by adjusting the scan speed of the camera to that of the monitor. The shutter can be changed in detail using the SPEED submenu item. ( ੬ Page 42 Recording a PC monitor) RANDOM: Used to synchronize the CCD accumulation timing with the FREEZE input. ( ੬ page 45) The shutter speed can be changed using the SPEED submenu item. EEI: Used to automatically change the shutter speed depending on the object brightness. (max: 1/2384.7s) OFF: • 1/30 s when VGA is set to the DRAFT mode • 1/7.5 s when VGA is set to the FINE mode • 1/7.5 s when in the SXGA mode STEP E51
