5022-xxx Installation notes: Warning: Do not install the camshaft assembly by reversing the removal procedures. The camshaft assembly and EP drive assembly must be set to the closed and engaged positions respectively before the camshaft assembly is installed, or the printer will not work correctly. 1. Ensure the EP drive assembly is engaged by sliding the upper retraction plate (A) fully to the rear. A 2. Remove the camshaft from the package, and place the left and right mounting brackets (B) on a flat surface. 3. Rotate the lever arm (C) all the way up as if the top access door were open; hold the lever arm (C) in place, and rotate the camshafts down (D) to the closed position. 4. Release the lever arm (C). 5. Remove the e-clip (E). 6. Slide the lever arm (C) and the spring (F) off the shaft. C E B F D B D Repair information 4-87
