5022-xxx User status and attendance messages (continued) Error code 87 Fuser missing Action • Install the fuser. Replace the fuser if the problem persists. • If the problem continues, turn the printer off and remove the rear cover. Check the JFUSER1 connector for proper connection to the system card, the cable for pinch points, and the cable or the connector for any other damage. If the connector is damaged on system card, replace the system card. See "System card removal" on page 4-79. If the problem persists after replacing cable, replace the system card.
