Note • Specifying the printer's address via the proxy server may slow down the response or disable the display of the screen. • For details on the settings, refer to the On-line Help for your web browser. For OkiWebRemote to work properly, the following settings must be configured on the web browser. For Netscape Communicator • Settings that enable Java Script are selected. • To compare the document in the cache and the document on the network, either the setting that compares them every session or the setting that compares them every time is selected. For Internet Explorer • Settings that enable active script are selected for the security level. • For newer versions of stored pages, either the setting that displays it or the setting that checks it every time Internet Explorer starts is selected. Setting the Printer To use OkiWebRemote, the IP address of this printer must be set and [OkiWebRemote] activated (default: [Enable]). Web Browser Settings
You are recommended to bypass the proxy server and specify the printer’s address directly.
Note
Specifying the printer’s address via the proxy server may slow down the response or disable the display
of the screen.
For details on the settings, refer to the On-line Help for your web browser.
For OkiWebRemote to work properly, the following settings must be configured on the web
browser.
For Netscape Communicator
Settings that enable Java Script are selected.
To compare the document in the cache and the document on the network, either the
setting that compares them every session or the setting that compares them every time
is selected.
For Internet Explorer
Settings that enable active script are selected for the security level.
