When an item is selected with the A or V cursor button and the Al or II. cursor button is pressed, another item may disappear, or in some cases the cursor may skip over some items. screen Setup menu When you select the Screen Setup menu (refer to "Basic Operation" below for the procedure), the following display appears on the on-screen display. Screen Color You can select one of the eight background colors: r BLUE- I < > BLUE-2 s-->CY AN - RED-2 MAGENTA Please note that the above color descriptions are standard descriptions. The actual colors may differ depending on the tone and brightness adjustments of the projector or TV used. When there is an image input signal, the input signal will be used for the background. Therefore the background color which you have selected will not be displayed. Superimpose Mode It is possible to set the on-screen display so that it is easy to read when an image input signal is connected. NORMAL: Normal BLACK : The image from the input signal is not displayed behind the lettering. OFF : The image from the input signal is replaced with the back-ground color. Immediate Display When Immediate Display is set to ON, the Immediate Display will be shown, and when it is set to OFF, the Immediate Display will not be shown. When Menu off is chosen (refer to the step 6 in "Basic operation" below), the selected background color will not be displayed. This can be useful when you don't want to display the message, or when you want to check the Auto/Manual tuning for TV/BS devices connected to the Image input. Character Position You can change the display position on the screen up or down, and to the left or right. Basic operation 1. Press the ENTER button. 2. Select the desired menu using the A or V cursor buttons. 3. Press the ENTER button again or IN. cursor button. 4. Select the desired item using the A or V cursor buttons and change the parameters and conditions of the items using the or ► cursor buttons. 5. After all the desired conditions have been input, and use the A or V cursor buttons to select ESC. Press the ENTER button and the screen will display the main menu. 6. Use the A or V cursor buttons to select ESC, and press the ENTER button to turn the Menu screen off. • Repeat steps 2-5 in order to use the other functions. 21
