Q: How do I get just my TV sound through my stereo? Q: Why is there no sound coming from my unit? It worked fine yesterday and there is some music faintly in the background. Answers A: Hit multi-source button, select source (CD, FM) then hit remote speaker button. On hand held remote, hit VOLUME A /V key to send volume to remote speakers. This is independent from the main volume. A: Make sure you have a single RCA video cable running from the monitor out on the back of the Onkyo going to the EXT. 1 or video-1 input of your TV/Monitor. You must make the input selection at the TV/Monitor. (Many customer assume that the Onkyo will switch the TV/Monitor mode automatically.) A: On the back of your TV/Monitor you should see AUDIO OUT left and right RCA jacks. Run a standard RCA cable from those output to any line level input on the Onkyo. Do not use the Phono input. A: Check to see that the TAPE-2 MONITOR button is not engaged. 45
