The test tone is provided to help make this adjustment. Pink noise is produced by each speaker in turn so you can match the volume level of the front, center and rear speakers. As the relative volumes of the speakers depend on your listening position. we recommended you make this adjustment with the remote control from the position you usually listen from. Use remote controller 1. Set the Device select switch to AMP. 2. Press the TEST button. This test tone (pink noise) is produced by each speaker in turn so you can match the volume levels of the Front, Center and Rear speakers. The test tone cycling sequence depends on the cneter mode settings. as follows. From your listening position, adjust the relative volume of the test tone from the different speakers. Set the front, rear and center speakers to the same volume. 4. Press the TEST button once more to turn off the test tone sequence. The test tone will automatically turn itself off after 2 minutes. On-screen Move the cursor to Test Tone using A or V cursor button and press the 4 or O. cursor button to choose the type of test tone. ON A test tone is sent to all speakers in turn. OFF The test tone is not turned on. Move the cursor to Center Level using A or V cursor button and use the 4 and IN- cursor buttons to adjust the center level. Move the cursor to Rear Level using A or V cursor button and use the 4 and Ir. cursor buttons to adjust the rear level. To return to the Surround Setup screen.
