Appendix Creating and Installing the Self-Signed Certificate Create and install the server certificate using Web Image Monitor. This section explains the use of a self-certificate as the server certificate. A Log on to Web Image Monitor in the administrator mode. B Click [Configuration], and then click [Device Settings] in the "Security" area. C Click [Create]. D Make the necessary settings. E Click [OK]. The setting is changed. F Click [OK]. A security warning dialog box appears. G Check the details, and then click [OK]. [Installed] appears under [Certificate Status] to show that a server certificate for the printer has been installed. H Quite Web Image Monitor. Note ❒ Click [Delete] to delete the server certificate from the printer.
