NMOS Item Enable/Disable Network Interface IS-04 Node Port IS-05 Connection Port Description Select whether to enable or disable the NMOS function. (Default value: Disable) Configure the monitor's network interface used for communication with the NMOS Controller. (Default value: LAN1) Enter the monitor's standby port number for the NMOS Discovery and Registration Specification (IS-04). (Default value: 3001) Enter the monitor's standby port number for the NMOS Device Connection Management Specification (IS-05). (Default value: 3002) Setting Enable Disable LAN1 or LAN2 LAN1 LAN2 1024 - 65535 1024 - 65535 Registration & Discovery (IS-04) Configure the settings on Registration Discovery Server (RDS) for device discovery and registration. Click the [Apply] button to apply the settings immediately. Item Node Label RDS Discovery DNS IP Address Service Domain RDS Primary IP Address Primary Port Secondary IP Address Secondary Port Description Enter the name of this unit displayed on the RDS to be connected. (Default value: BVM-HX3110) Select whether to enable or disable the automatic discovery function of the RDS to be connected. (Default value: Enable) Set the source of DNS information required for RDS Discovery. When the DHCP of this unit is disabled, Manual is selected. (Default value: Manual) Set the source of DNS information required for RDS Discovery. When [RDS Discovery] is [Enable] and [DNS] is [Manual], the IP address you set becomes enabled. (Default value: 0.0.0.0) Enter the domain name for the RDS discovery. When [RDS Discovery] is [Enable] and [DNS] is [Manual], the domain name you set becomes enabled. When [RDS Discovery] is [Disable], set the RDS information to be connected. Set the RDS address to be connected. When [RDS Discovery] is [Disable], the IP address you set becomes enabled. (Default value: 0.0.0.0) Set the RDS port number to be connected. When [RDS Discovery] is [Disable], the port number you set becomes enabled. (Default value: 0) Set the RDS address to be connected. When [RDS Discovery] is [Disable] and the connection to Primary RDS failed, the IP address you set becomes enabled. (Default value: 0.0.0.0) Set the RDS port number to be connected. When [RDS Discovery] is [Disable] and the connection to Primary RDS failed, the port number you set becomes enabled. (Default value: 0) Setting Up to 64 ASCII code characters Enable Disable DHCP Manual 0.0.0.0 - 255.255.255.255 Up to 64 ASCII code characters 0.0.0.0 - 255.255.255.255 0 - 65535 0.0.0.0 - 255.255.255.255 0 - 65535 Notes Normally, set [Disable] to [RDS Discovery], and set the IP address and port of [RDS]. Either setting of Primary RDS or Secondary RDS is used. When [Enable] is set to [RDS Discovery], the automatic discovery function of either uDNS or mDNS operates depending on the situation. The availability of the RDS Discovery function depends on the system. uDNS: The DNS function automatically discovers arbitrary RDS. When either of the following conditions is met, the automatic discovery by uDNS is established. - The DHCP of this unit is enabled, [DNS] is set as [DHCP], DNS information is given from the DHCP server, and RDS information is given from the DNS server. - The DNS information is set with [Manual] selected in [DNS], and RDS information is given from the DNS server. 108
