Notes
Normally, set [Disable] to [RDS Discovery], and set the IP address and port of [RDS].
Either setting of Primary RDS or Secondary RDS is used.
When [Enable] is set to [RDS Discovery], the automatic discovery function of either uDNS or mDNS
operates depending on the situation. The availability of the RDS Discovery function depends on the
system.
uDNS:
The DNS function automatically discovers arbitrary RDS.
When either of the following conditions is met, the automatic discovery by uDNS is established.
– The DHCP of this unit is enabled, [DNS] is set as [DHCP], DNS information is given from the DHCP
server, and RDS information is given from the DNS server.
– The DNS information is set with [Manual] selected in [DNS], and RDS information is given from the
DNS server.
