Submenu Out. Image(Single) Fix. EMO Ch. Fix. LUT Assign Setting Select which input signal to output from the Enhanced Monitor Out (EMO) terminal. (Default value: Displayed)  Displayed: Outputs the input signal of the displayed screen.  Fixed: Outputs the input signal set to the channel that is selected separately from the input signal of the displayed screen. When "Fixed" is selected, "Quad View" (page 50) and "Side by Side" (page 51) cannot be set to On. Select the setting channel of the input signal when "Fixed" is selected. (Default value: Ch.1)  Ch.1 - Ch.30 When the User LUT data is applied to a setting channel, select the destination to apply it to. (Default value: EMO)  Displayed & EMO: When the settings channel of the displayed screen and the settings channel of EMO are the same, User LUT is applied to the displayed screen and EMO. Example where the settings channel of the displayed screen and the settings channel of EMO are the same: Displayed: Ch.1 4K SDI Input1 EMO: Ch.1 4K SDI Input1 When the setting channel of the displayed screen and the setting channel of the EMO are different, and the input signal setting of either channel is 4K SDI or HDMI (equivalent to 4K), User LUT is applied preferentially to EMO. Example where the settings channel of the displayed screen and the settings channel of EMO are different: Displayed: Ch.1 HDMI EMO: Ch.2 4K SDI Input1  Displayed: User LUT is applied only to the displayed screen.  EMO: User LUT is applied only to EMO. Note If the channel set for the displayed screen and the channel set for EMO are different and the input signal set for both channels is 2K SDI or HDMI (2K equivalent), "Fix. LUT Assign" cannot be selected. The User LUT setting for each set channel is applied to the displayed screen and EMO. Submenu Fix. EMO Conv. Setting When "Fixed" is selected, select whether to apply Conversion (HDR SDR conversion) to the EMO output. (Default value: Off)  On: Conversion is applied.  Off: Conversion is not applied. Notes  When the input signal of the setting channel of "Fix. EMO Ch." is HDMI, it cannot be output to Enhanced Monitor Out.  If the input terminal settings of the displayed screen and each setting channel of "Fix. EMO Ch." are overlapped, display and EMO output cannot be performed at the same time. For example, if the input terminal 1 of the same SDI is set to "Ch.1" and "Ch.2", display and EMO output cannot be performed at the same time. To simultaneously display and output the same input signal to EMO in different channel settings, input the video of input terminal 1 to another terminal, and set that input terminal to "Ch.2". If a combination of channels that cannot be simultaneously displayed or output to EMO is configured, EMO output will take precedence. In this case, the displayed screen will be black, and the message "Invalid EMO Combination" will be displayed.  Even if the input terminals are different, 4K SDI and 4K SDI, 4K SDI and 2K SDI cannot be simultaneously displayed or output to EMO. For example, even if "4K SDI Input1" is set to "Ch.1" and "4K SDI Input3" is set to "Ch.2", they cannot be simultaneously displayed or output to EMO. The EMO output is prioritized, and the displayed screen will be black. SDI of two systems can be simultaneously displayed or output to EMO only in the combination of 2K SDI and 2K SDI.  When the setting channel of "Fix. EMO Ch." is changed, if it becomes a combination of channels that cannot be simultaneously displayed and output to EMO, EMO output will take precedence. The channel of the displayed screen is internally changed to the same setting channel of the EMO output, and the screen display continues.  " Fix. EMO Conv." is available when the optional "BVML-H10" license (sold separately) is enabled. 71

Setting
Out. Image(Single)
Select which input signal to output
from the Enhanced Monitor Out (EMO)
terminal.
(Default value: Displayed)
Displayed:
Outputs the input signal
of the displayed screen.
Fixed:
Outputs the input signal set
to the channel that is selected
separately from the input signal
of the displayed screen.
When "Fixed” is selected, “Quad View”
(page 50) and “Side by Side” (page 51)
cannot be set to On.
Fix. EMO Ch.
Select the setting channel of the input
signal when “Fixed” is selected.
(Default value: Ch.1)
Ch.1 - Ch.30
Fix. LUT Assign
When the User LUT data is applied to a
setting channel, select the destination
to apply it to. (Default value: EMO)
Displayed & EMO:
When the
settings channel of the displayed
screen and the settings channel of
EMO are the same, User LUT is
applied to the displayed screen and
EMO.
Example where the settings channel
of the displayed screen and the
settings channel of EMO are the
same:
Displayed: Ch.1 4K SDI Input1
EMO: Ch.1 4K SDI Input1
When the setting channel of the
displayed screen and the setting
channel of the EMO are different,
and the input signal setting of either
channel is 4K SDI or HDMI
(equivalent to 4K), User LUT is
applied preferentially to EMO.
Example where the settings channel
of the displayed screen and the
settings channel of EMO are
different:
Displayed: Ch.1 HDMI
EMO: Ch.2 4K SDI Input1
Displayed:
User LUT is applied only
to the displayed screen.
EMO:
User LUT is applied only to
EMO.
Note
If the channel set for the displayed
screen and the channel set for EMO are
different and the input signal set for
both channels is 2K SDI or HDMI (2K
equivalent), “Fix. LUT Assign” cannot
be selected. The User LUT setting for
each set channel is applied to the
displayed screen and EMO.
Fix. EMO Conv.
When "Fixed” is selected, select
whether to apply Conversion (HDR SDR
conversion) to the EMO output.
(Default value: Off)
On:
Conversion is applied.
Off:
Conversion is not applied.
Notes
When the input signal of the setting
channel of “Fix. EMO Ch.” is HDMI, it
cannot be output to Enhanced
Monitor Out.
If the input terminal settings of the
displayed screen and each setting
channel of “Fix. EMO Ch.” are
overlapped, display and EMO
output cannot be performed at the
same time. For example, if the input
terminal 1 of the same SDI is set to
“Ch.1” and “Ch.2”, display and EMO
output cannot be performed at the
same time. To simultaneously
display and output the same input
signal to EMO in different channel
settings, input the video of input
terminal 1 to another terminal, and
set that input terminal to “Ch.2”. If a
combination of channels that
cannot be simultaneously displayed
or output to EMO is configured,
EMO output will take precedence. In
this case, the displayed screen will
be black, and the message “Invalid
EMO Combination” will be
displayed.
Even if the input terminals are
different, 4K SDI and 4K SDI, 4K SDI
and 2K SDI cannot be
simultaneously displayed or output
to EMO. For example, even if “4K
SDI Input1” is set to “Ch.1” and “4K
SDI Input3” is set to “Ch.2”, they
cannot be simultaneously displayed
or output to EMO. The EMO output
is prioritized, and the displayed
screen will be black. SDI of two
systems can be simultaneously
displayed or output to EMO only in
the combination of 2K SDI and 2K
SDI.
When the setting channel of “Fix.
EMO Ch.” is changed, if it becomes
a combination of channels that
cannot be simultaneously displayed
and output to EMO, EMO output will
take precedence. The channel of
the displayed screen is internally
changed to the same setting
channel of the EMO output, and the
screen display continues.
“ Fix. EMO Conv.” is available when
the optional “BVML-H10” license
(sold separately) is enabled.
