Web Based Management Change the Scan to Network Configuration (Windows®) 4 Scan to Network allows you to scan documents directly to a shared folder located on your local network or the Internet. For more information about Scan to Network, see Scan Documents to a Shared Folder / Network Location (Windows ®) (ADS-2500We/ADS-2600We only) in the User's Guide. NOTE Scan to Network supports NTLMv2 Authentication. You must configure the SNTP protocol (network time server), or you must set the date, time and time zone correctly on the machine's control panel for authentication. (For information about setting SNTP, see 4 Synchronize with the SNTP Server on page 41. For information about setting the date, time and time zone, see the User's Guide.) 1 Start Web Based Management and access your Brother machine (see step 1 on page 36). 2 When the Web Based Management screen appears, click the Scan tab, and then click Scan to FTP/Network in the left navigation bar. 3 Choose Network in the profile numbers (1 to 10) you want to use for Scan to Network settings. In addition to the seven preset file names, you can also store two user-defined file names in Create a User Defined File Name. A maximum of 15 characters can be entered in each of the two fields. 4 Click Submit. 5 Click Scan to FTP/Network Profile in the left navigation bar. You can configure the following Scan to Network settings:  Profile Name (up to 15 characters)  Host Address  Store Directory  File Name  Quality  File Type  Document Size  File Size  Auto Deskew  Skip Blank Page  2-sided Scan  Use PIN for Authentication  PIN Code  Auth.Method 44
