Introduction Other Features 1 1 LDAP 1 The LDAP protocol allows you to search for information such as email addresses from your computer. When you use the Scan to E-mail server feature, you can use the LDAP search to find email addresses. (See Changing LDAP Configuration Using Your Machine's Control Panel on page 47.) Scan to E-mail Server 1 Scan to E-mail Server allows you to send scanned documents using the Internet as the transport mechanism. (See Scan to E-mail Server on page 50.) Before using this function, you have to configure the necessary machine settings by using the machine's control panel, BRAdmin Professional 3 or Web Based Management.
