When using the twin needle, be sure

Insert the extra spool pin into the end of the d bobbin winder shaft, and install the thread spool on it. Then, thread the upper thread. Without passing the thread through the needle f bar thread guide, manually thread the right needle. Pass the thread through the eye of the needle from the front. 1 a Bobbin winder shaft b Extra spool pin c Thread spool Memo z When setting the thread spool, set it so that the thread winds off from the front of the spool. Thread the upper thread for the right side in e the same way that the upper thread for the left side was threaded. CAUTION ● The needle threader cannot be used with the twin needle. If the needle threader is used with the twin needle, the sewing machine may be damaged. Attach zigzag foot "J". g For details on changing the presser foot, refer to "Replacing the Presser Foot" (page 43). CAUTION ● When using the twin needle, be sure to attach zigzag foot "J". If bunched stitches occur, use presser foot "N" or use a lightweight tear-away stabilizer. • For details, refer to steps g through j of "Threading the upper thread" (page 32).
