Learn the Names and Functions of Each Part of the Machine Front Side and Interior .'$EX .'$X Feeder Automatically feeds documents into the machine (→p.19). Operation panel Use the panel to control the machine (→p.13). Front cover Open the cover to replace toner cartridges or clear paper jams. Speaker Emits sounds produced by the machine. Ventilation slots Allows heat to escape from inside of the machine. Paper drawer Load paper here (→p.21). MF8580Cdw Power switch Turns the power ON or OFF. MF8280Cw Paper guides Adjust these guides to fit the paper. Press the levers that are marked with arrows in the illustrations to release the locks and slide the paper guides. Lock release lever (for extending the paper drawer) Press to release the lock and extend the length of the paper drawer for Legal size paper. 10
