TX REPORT PRINT WITH IMAGE Description Settings Selects the position of the identification header (outside or inside the image area).* Selects the prefix for the identification header number. (→ p. 2-3) Enables/disables the off hook alarm that alerts you when the handset is not seated properly in its cradle. Sets the volume of the machine sounds. When the machine is set to FAX/TEL AUTO SW, selects the ring volume when the machine detects a voice call. Selects the line monitor volume (sound during dialing and on hook). When the machine is set to FAX/TEL AUTO SW, selects the tone of incoming calls. Selects the dialing method the machine uses for your telephone line type. (→ p. 2-6) OUTSIDE IMAGE INSIDE IMAGE FAX TEL ON OFF 1/2/3 0 (off)/ 1/2/3 HIGH STANDARD TOUCH TONE ROTARY PULSE Enables/disables automatic printing of a transmission report. (→ p. 7-3) PRINT ERROR ONLY: Prints a report only when a transmission error occurs. OUTPUT YES: Prints a report every time you send a document. OUTPUT NO: No report is printed. If you select PRINT ERROR ONLY or OUTPUT YES above, enables/disables printing of the first page of the fax under the report (black & white faxes only). PRINT ERROR ONLY OUTPUT YES OUTPUT NO ON OFF * Can only be adjusted for black & white transmissions. For color transmissions, the TTI information is positioned inside the image area. 9-4
