Device Configuration Menu Chapter 4 Configuring Settings on the Cisco Unified IP Phone Table 4-8 Media Configuration Menu Options (continued) Option Description To Change Enterprise Advertise G.722 Indicates whether Cisco Unified IP Phones advertise the G.722 codec to Cisco Unified Communications Manager. If enabled (default), and if each endpoint in the attempted call supports G.722 in its capabilities set, Cisco Unified Communications Manager chooses G.722 for the call. From Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, choose System > Enterprise Parameters. Note When a phone is registered with a Cisco Unified Communications Manager that does not support this setting, the default is "Disabled." Device Allows you to override the Enterprise Advertise G.722 Advertise G.722 Codec on a per-phone basis. From Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, choose Device > Phone. The default is "Use System Default," which means that the value configured for the Enterp G.722 Codec parameter is used. Power Save Configuration Menu The Power Save Configuration menu displays the settings that control when the phone screen backlight turns off to conserve power. Table 4-9 describes the options on this menu.
