Removal and Replacement Procedures 2-9 Large Access Panel WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow internal system components to cool before touching them. To remove the large access panel: 1. Perform the preparation procedures. See "Powering Down the Server" earlier in this chapter. 2. Open the front bezel (tower model only). See "Front Bezel" earlier in this chapter. 3. Loosen the two thumbscrews securing the large access panel to the front of the chassis . 4. Large Access Panel
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow internal system
components to cool before touching them.
To remove the large access panel:
1.
Perform the preparation procedures. See “Powering Down the Server” earlier in this
chapter.
2.
Open the front bezel (tower model only). See “Front Bezel” earlier in this chapter.
3.
Loosen the two thumbscrews securing the large access panel to the front of the chassis
.
4.
Slide the large access panel back about 1.5 cm (0.5 inches), then pull it away from the
chassis
.
