Chapter 1 Introduction The Backup Agent for Microsoft Exchange Server is a "go-between" that allows BrightStor ARCserve Backup to back up and restore Exchange Server databases and database objects. The Backup Agent helps BrightStor ARCserve Backup retrieve and send data to and from the Exchange Server by interpreting and transmitting commands and data. BrightStor ARCserve Backup supports Microsoft Exchange Server versions 5.5 and Exchange 2000.
