Exchange Server Errors ■ A conflicting or incomplete Mapisvc.inf exists on the Exchange Server. This can occur if you have a messaging client installed that is creating ts own version of Mapisvc.inf. To remedy this problem, find all copies of Mapisvc.inf on your Exchange Server and ensure that the most complete and accurate version is in the windows\Systerm32 folder. If you need to make changes to Mapisvc.inf, first back up all copies of the file and see the Microsoft Q Article 294470 on the Microsoft web site for information on adding entries for Exchange Services.
