Question: What is the M drive (ExIFS) and do I need to back it up? Answer: The M drive is a virtual drive that exposes Exchange Server 2000 mailboxes and public folders. It is simply a view of Exchange Server 2000 and not a physical drive, so you do not need to back it up, which is why it is skipped when you perform a backup job using the Client Agent for Windows.
