Note: Individual database stores can be restored from a backup of an entire storage group. 3. Right-click the database level object that you selected to back up and select Agent Option from the pop-up menu. Note: Always perform a full backup when running the agent for the first time. This allows you to store a complete set of Exchange Server databases. 4. To enable CRC checking so that you can verify the integrity of your data using the Media Assure & Scan utility after the backup job is performed, do the following: a. From the Backup Manager window, click the Options toolbar button. The Options dialog opens. b. Select the Operations tab. Click the check box in the Calculate and Store CRC Value on Backup Media option and click OK. 5. To enable data encryption, compression, or both, do the following: a. From the Backup Manager window, click the Options toolbar button. The Options dialog opens. b. Select the Backup Media tab. In the Compression/Encryption section, specify the following options as required: ■ Encrypt data--Select at Agent. ■ Session/Encryption--Specify a password. Note: You must specify a password when you select the Encrypt data option. ■ Compress data--Select at Agent. c. Click OK. 6. Click the Destination tab and specify a backup destination. Note:
Individual database stores can be restored from a backup of an
entire storage group.
