OSPF DGS-1520 Series Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide OSPFv2 OSPFv2 Process Settings This window is used to display and configure the OSPFv2 process settings. To view the following window, click L3 Features > OSPF > OSPFv2 > OSPFv2 Process Settings, as shown below: Figure 6-36 OSPFv2 Process Settings Window Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. Click the Edit button to modify the specified entry. Click the Show Detail button to view detailed information associated with the entry. Enter a page number and click the Go button to navigate to a specific page when multiple pages exist. After clicking the Edit button, the following page will appear. Figure 6-37 OSPFv2 Process Settings (Edit) Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter OSPF State Router ID Default Metric Type Description Select to enable or disable the OSPFv2 state. Enter the router ID in the IPv4 address format here. The router ID is a 32-bit number assigned to each router running the OSPF protocol. This number uniquely identifies the router within an AS. Each router has a unique router ID. Enter the default metric value used here. The range is from 1 to 16777214. Select the distance setting type here. Options to choose from are: • Inter-Area - Specifies the distance for OSPF inter-area routes. 248
