The command logging function is used to log the commands that have successfully been configured on the Switch via the command line interface. The command, along with information about the user that entered the command, is included in the system log. Commands that do not cause a change in the Switch configuration or operation (such as 'show' commands) are not logged. To view the following window, click Management > Command Logging, as shown below: Figure 4-1 Command Logging Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Command Logging State Description Select to enable or disable the command logging function here.
