DGS-1520 Series Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide 12. Green Power Saving EEE Power Saving This window is used to display and configure the power saving settings of the Switch. To view the following window, click Green > Power Saving and select the Power Saving Global Settings tab, as shown below: Figure 12-1 Power Saving Global Settings Window The fields that can be configured in Power Saving Global Settings are described below: Parameter Link Detection Power Saving Scheduled Port-shutdown Power Saving Scheduled Hibernation Power Saving Scheduled Dim-LED Power Saving Administrative Dim-LED Description Select to enable or disable the link detection state. When enabled, a port, which has a link down status, will be turned off to save power to the Switch. This will not affect the port's capabilities when the port status is link up. Select to enable or disable applying the power saving by scheduled port shutdown. Select to enable or disable the scheduled hibernation power saving function here. This function is not available when physical stacking is enabled. Select to enable or disable applying the power saving by scheduled dimming LEDs. Select to enable or disable the port LED function. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in Time Range Settings are described below: Parameter Type Time Range Description Select the type of power saving. Options to choose from are Dim-LED and Hibernation. Hibernation is not available when physical stacking is enabled. Enter the name of the time range to associate with the power saving type. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made for each individual section. Click the Delete button to remove the specified entry. 513
