Installing cooling fan Prerequisites 1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions on page 58. 2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system on page 59. 3. Remove the air shroud. 4. Remove the internal riser. 5. Remove the power cable. 6. Move the cables out of the way to access the cooling fan cable connector on the system board. Steps 1. Holding the blue touch point, place the cooling fan into the cooling fan cage. 2. Route the cooling fan cable and connect it to the connector on the system board.
