FIXING B. Procedure (for replacing the fixing temperature sensor 4) 1. Remove the fixing unit. 2. Remove 2 screws [1] and then remove the fixing entrance plate L [2]. Note: • Be careful not to damage the paper passage section of the fixing admission plate L [2]. 3. Remove 2 clamp screws [1], connector [2] and a screw [3], and then remove the fixing temperature sensor 4 [4]. Note: • When reinstalling it, be sure to check that the sensor section of the fixing temperature sensor 4 is in touch with the fixing roller. 4. Reinstall the above parts following the removal steps in reverse. C. Procedure (for removing and reinstalling the fixing temperature sensor 2) 1.
