Forms an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive drum. Makes an electrostatic latent image visible. Forms an image by synthesizing on the transfer belt a monochrome (YMCK) visible image from each photosensitive drum. Transfers an image on the transfer belt to paper. Separates paper from the transfer belt after completion of the transfer of the toner. Removes toner adhered on the surface of the photosensitive drum after completion of the primary transfer. Removes residual potential on the surface against the photosensitive drum after completion of drum cleaning. Removes toner adhered on the surface of the transfer belt after completion of the 2nd transfer. Remove toner adhered on the 2nd transfer roller L after completion of the 2nd transfer. Collects toner that has been removed through the drum cleaning and the transfer belt cleaning. (Not shown in the drawing below.)
