I OUTLINE IMAGE CREATION PROCESS 5.4 Developing process (Step 3) hp Color 9850mfp In the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive drum, the non-image section is negatively charged and the image section is neutralized. When toner, that is, negatively charged is brought close to the photosensitivity drum, toner is attracted to the image section on the drum by the potential difference with the developing bias and becomes visible.
