II UNIT EXPLANATION SCANNER 1.2.5 APS control hp Color 9850mfp The APS control is performed in the printer control board (PRCB) with signals read by the APS sensor S (PS3), the APS sensor L (PS4), and the CCD sensor when the RADF is opened/closed. The signal is sent via the scanner drive board (SCDB) and the overall control board (OACB) (see the ADF service manual for more detailed information on the APS control by RADF). A. APS operation The APS sensor S (PS3) and the APS sensor L (PS4) detect the original size in the sub-scan direction and the CCD sensor detects the original size in the main scan direction. B.
