hp Color 9850mfp 10.5 Replacing the registration roller A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle • Registration roller: Every 1,500,000 copies B. Procedure 1. Remove the registration cleaning sheet. (See "10.2 Replacing the registration cleaning sheet.") 2. Remove the ADU cover R, ADU release lever and the ADU cover L. (See "7.3 Replacing the paper feed clutch /BP.") 3. Remove 2 screws [1] and then remove the gear cover [2]. 4. Remove a relay connector [3]. 5. Remove the stop rings [4], 1 each, and then remove the bearings [5], 1 each at front and rear. 6. Remove 2 screws [6] and then remove the registration unit [7]. Note: • When removing the registration unit [7], open the conveyance guide plate U [8] and slide the registration unit toward the rear of the ADU to pull out the shaft of the front side from the ADU panel, and then remove the registration unit.
