II UNIT EXPLANATION PAPER FEED Q3228A D. Original reverse/paper exit operation The reverse/paper exit system is driven by the reverse/paper exit motor (M303). Conveyance path is switched by the paper exit solenoid (SD301) and reverse solenoid (SD302), both of which are OFF in this mode. Original from the conveyance section is wound around the reverse roller and sent to the reverse paper path area. When the reverse sensor (PS305) turns OFF, M303 starts decelerating and stops. Then M303 starts reversing to send the original to the reverse/paper exit conveyance path. After the paper exit sensor (PS306) turns ON, M303 decelerates after the specified time and reverses to exit the original to the original exit tray at a low speed. After PS306 turns OFF, M303 stops after the specified time.
