II UNIT EXPLANATION STACKER Q5686A/Q5687A (3) Three-folding mode An finisher operation signal from the finisher drives the stopper motor (M718) to lower the paper down to the alignment position suitable for the paper size. After completion of the alignment of the last paper, M718 is driven to lower the paper down to the first folding line of the three-folding. After folding operation, the folding exit sensor (PS725) detects the trailing edge of the paper bundle and M718 is driven to raise the booklet stopper to the paper size position to stand by for the paper of the next copy.
