Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 19). 2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 19). 3. Remove the optical drive (Optical drive on page 27). 4. Remove the front bezel (Front bezel on page 20). Remove the hard drive: 1. Pull the release lever outward (1). 2. Lift the back of the drive (2), slide the drive forward, and then lift the drive up and out of the drive bay (3). 3.
