● Provide PDF production files without CMS and with mapped spot colors. ● Follow the job naming terminology (new/reprint job; used spot or new, etc.). ● Standardize the production flow. Fill the PSP requirements for standardization, baseline, maintenance and substrate definition (to be performed once). ● NOTE: All site preparations and consumables best practices must be implemented. Refer to the following documents: ● HP Indigo WS6000 Series Digital Presses Site Preparation Guide (CA394-28840) ● Supplies Best Practice Guide W7200 & WS6000 Series (CA394-03841) ● 12 Million Impression Preventive Maintenance Guide (CA393-00660) - Check that the last available press software version is installed using HP Indigo Radar. - Define the color calibration frequency level, including the press, job and DFE parameters related to the highest level recommended for HQCC (High Quality Color Control). NOTE: Refer to Recommended frequency of color calibration for HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press (CA394-23830). - Monitor and check material and application aspects. NOTE: Refer to Priming Guidelines for Labels and Packaging Digital Presses (CA494-23400). - Perform press baseline and maintenance. (Refer to WS6X00 - Production Excellence Routines Maintenance Checklist (CA394-14431)). - Define your substrates correctly - refer to Substrate definition (PSP) on page 18. - Define Color Calibration according to the recommended frequencies. NOTE: Refer to Recommended frequency of color calibration for HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press (CA394-23830). - Integrate the quality control (QC) target job, and evaluate print quality and colors performances, at every start of shift (refer to PQ and color validation (PSP) on page 20). ● Document and monitor all production activities. ● Set PQ and end-user color expectations (Precision and Tolerance).
