Floppy Disk Before removing the floppy disk drive, perform the following procedures: D Remove the stand. D Open the system unit. Perform the following steps to remove the floppy disk drive: 1. Disconnect the two cables from the floppy drive. 2. Remove the HP PAC from the top of the floppy drive, as shown in Figure 5-15. 3. Lift the drive straight up, as shown in Figure 5-15. 4. Floppy Disk
Before removing the floppy disk drive, perform the following procedures:

Remove the stand.
D
Open the system unit.
Perform the following steps to remove the floppy disk drive:
1.
Disconnect the two cables from the floppy drive.
2.
Remove the HP PAC from the top of the floppy drive, as shown in Figure 5–15.
3.
Lift the drive straight up, as shown in Figure 5–15.
4.
Check any jumper settings on the replacement drive, as shown in Chapter 3.
