Floppy Disk Before removing the floppy disk drive, perform the following procedures: D Remove the stand. D Open the system unit. Perform the following steps to remove the floppy disk drive: 1. Disconnect the two cables from the floppy drive. 2. Remove the HP PAC from the top of the floppy drive, as shown in Figure 5-15. 3. Lift the drive straight up, as shown in Figure 5-15. 4. Before removing the floppy disk drive, perform the following procedures:
