Memory Board Installation Before replacing memory boards, perform the following procedures: D Remove the stand. D Open the system unit. In the 712/100 ther are 6 memory slots (3 pairs.) Refer to Chapter 3 for information about memory board configurations. Angle the board with the top edge tilted toward the rear of the system unit, and insert it into the connector, as shown in Figure 5-9. Note that the memory board is notched on one end to fit the keyed connector. Snap the board into place by moving it to a vertical position. If the board is installed properly, the plastic alignment pins on either end of the connector align with the holes on the memory board. Figure 6-9. Memory Board Installation
Before replacing memory boards, perform the following procedures:
