Table 4-1 HP Embedded Web Server Information tab (continued) Menu Description Configuration Page Shows the information found on the configuration page. Event Log Page Shows a list of all scanner events and errors. Use the HP Instant Support link (in the page footer on all HP Embedded Web Server pages) to connect to a set of dynamic Web pages that help solve problems. These pages also show additional services available for the scanner. Usage Page Shows a summary of the number of pages the scanner has scanned. Device Information Shows the scanner network name, address, and model information. To customize these entries, click the Device Information menu on the General tab. Control Panel Snapshot Shows an image of the current screen on the control panel display. Open Source Licenses Shows a summary of the licenses for open source software programs that can be used with the scanner. Setup email alerts for various scanner and supplies events. Shows the Settings app options that are available on the scanner control panel. Configure the scanner to send automated emails regarding scanner configuration and supplies to specific email addresses. Add or customize a link to another Web site. This link displays in the footer area on all HP Embedded Web Server pages. Name the scanner and assign an asset number to it. Enter the name of the primary contact who will receive information about the scanner. Set the language in which to display the HP Embedded Web Server information. Set the date and time or synchronize with a network time server. Set or edit sleep settings for business and non-business hours and wake, sleep, and holiday events for the scanner. Back up and Restore Reset Factory Settings Solution Installer Firmware Upgrade Quota and Statistics Services Set which interactions with the scanner cause it to wake from sleep mode. Create a backup file that contains scanner and user data. If necessary, use this file to restore data to the scanner. Restore scanner settings to the factory defaults. Install third-party software packages that extend or modify the functionality of the scanner. Download and install scanner firmware upgrade files.
