Rear-Mount Brackets (2x) b. Attach the left and right rear-mount brackets to the chassis by installing four #10-32 x 1/4" flat-head screws per bracket into the four top corner holes towards the blower assembly side of the switch as shown in Figure 10. Attach the left and right rail assemblies to the rack by completing the following steps: a. Choose a mounting location in the rack for the switch. Save 1U for cable management. Read the Warning notice on page 14. b. On each rail assembly, loosen the two adjusting screws holding the brackets on the rail until the brackets slide freely. c. Place the rail assemblies in the mounting location you selected as shown in Figure 11. d. Adjust the length of the rail assembly to fit the depth of the rack by sliding the bracket accordingly. Depending on the depth of your rack, you may need to remove the adjusting screws and install them in the second and fourth positions on the rail to extend the length of the rail. 20 getting started and general reference guide
