Switch Manager Managing ports This section describes the following tasks that manage ports and devices: ■ Displaying port information, page 80 ■ Configuring ports, page 85 ■ Resetting a port, page 89 ■ Testing ports, page 89 Displaying port information Port information is available primarily in the faceplate display (Figure 30) and includes: ■ Port status ■ Port Statistics data window ■ Port Information data window ■ Name Server data window The faceplate display data windows provide information and statistics for switches and ports. Use the topology display to view status information on fabrics, switches, and links between switches.
