Switch Manager Table 29: Add a Fabric messages (Continued) Message The maximum number of management sessions on the entry switch has been exceeded. Unable to login to switch. Reason: ... Unknown host hostname. Verify correct user name and password and retry. User action The application cannot establish a session with the fabric because too many sessions are already open. Close any other application or Telnet sessions to the fabric and try again. Verify that the user name and password entered in the dialog box are valid login information for an account on the switch specified by the IP address box. Verify that the host name specified for the IP address is a valid hostname for a switch in the fabric, and that the switch is reachable from the user's workstation. Either the user name or password is incorrect. Enter the correct values and retry. Unable to apply invalid syslog host address. User action Verify that the data is valid, that the user has permissions to modify the configuration on the switch, that the switch is reachable in the fabric, and that the fabric is reachable from the user's workstation, and then retry the configuration change.
