Turn off the server and disconnect all power cords and external cables ("Turning off the server" on page 9); then, remove the server cover (see "Removing the server left-side cover and bezel (tower model)" on page 55 or "Removing the server top cover and bezel (rack configuration)" on page 57). 3. the

cover

Slide
the
air-baffle
assembly
out
of
the
guides;
then,
remove
it
from
the
server.

Disconnect
any
cables
that
are
connected
to
the
full-length
adapters.
5.
Lift
the
adapter-retention

the

bracket

the

then,
remove
the
full-length
adapters
and

the

of
the
cable
that
is
attached
to
the
center-fans
connector
on
the
system
board
(see
“System-board
internal
cable
connectors”
on
page
49).
7.
Remove
the
adapter-support
bracket.
