Error code Description Action 161 Real-time clock battery error. 1. Reseat the battery. 2. Clear CMOS memory. See the Problem Determination and Service Guide on the IBM System x Documentation CD for information about how to clear CMOS memory. 3. Replace the following components, one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time: a. Battery b. (Trained service technician only) System board 162 A device configuration has changed 1. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program, select Load Default Settings, and save the settings. 2.
