Error code Description Action I9990305 An operating system was not found. 1. Make sure that a bootable operating system is installed. 2. Run the hard disk drive diagnostic tests. 3. Reseat the following components: a. Hard disk drive b. SAS hard disk drive backplane and cables c. DVD drive and cables 4. Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time: a. Hard disk drive b. SAS hard disk drive backplane and cables c. DVD drive and cables d. (Trained service technician only) System board I9990650 AC power has been restored. 1. Check the power cables. 2. Check for interruption of the power supply (see the Problem Determination and Service Guide on the IBM System x Documentation CD for information on the power-supply LEDs). 3. Reseat the following components: a. Power supply b. (Trained service technician only) Power backplane 4.
