Appendix B - Default Settings Error Alerts Error alerts are sent when a condition occurs that prevents the printer from printing, such as running out of media. These alerts include: • Out of Media • Out of Ribbon • Printer in Pause Mode • Printer in Menu Mode • Application Break • RFID Not Installed • Printhead Lifted • Printhead Not Detected Information Alerts Information alerts are sent when a print job is started or completed, or when the printer is rebooting. These alerts include: • Print Job Complete • Printer is Rebooting • Started (Sent when a print job has begun) Warning Alerts Warning alerts are sent when the printer may need attention shortly, such as when the printhead needs maintenance, or when the odometer has reached a present value. A warning alert is also sent when the printer firmware is being upgraded. Warning alerts include: • Ribbon Installed (Sent when the printer is set for direct thermal printing but has ribbon installed for thermal transfer printing) • Ribbon Low • Upgrading Firmware • Odometer (User Resettable) • Odometer (Printer) • Replace Printhead • Clean Printhead 144 PC23 and PC43 Desktop Printer User Manual
