Appendix D - Advanced Configuration Printer File System (Fingerprint) As you access the printer for communications, you will encounter different parts of the printer file system. The following sections contain a device tree structure and brief descriptions of the different devices and directories of the file system. This fact is important because filenames in Fingerprint commands are translated into capital letters by default. Directories or files with lowercase names will be inaccessible for Fingerprint commands and programs.
