16.4 Using the machine WebDAV server for association 16 16.4 Using the machine WebDAV server for association Overview To use application software with which the WebDAV server of this machine is used to communicate, configure the WebDAV server function. If a certificate for this machine is registered, you can encrypt communication between the machine and application software using SSL. To use the WebDAV server of this machine for the association, follow the below procedure to configure the settings. 1 Configure settings for connecting to the network such as setting of the IP address of this machine % For details on configuring the setting, refer to page 2-2. 2 Configure the WebDAV server settings % For details on configuring the setting, refer to page 16-8. 3 Set the following options according to your environment Purpose Encrypting communication between this machine and application software with SSL. Reference page 16-9 Configuring the WebDAV server settings Enable the WebDAV server. Also set an access right to the WebDAV server. In the administrator mode, select [Network] - [WebDAV Settings] - [WebDAV Server Settings], then configure the following settings. Settings [WebDAV Settings] Description Select [ON] to use the WebDAV server. [OFF] is selected by default. bizhub C754/C654 16-8
