Jobs printed to the Direct connection are not saved in the Printed queue. If you plan to download fonts to the Fiery X3e, you must publish the Direct connection. Jobs that are printed to the Print queue are spooled to the Fiery X3e disk and printed on a first-in, first-out basis. Only queues published in the Printer Setup are available to users. NOTE: To print to the Fiery X3e over the parallel port, you must publish a queue or publish the Direct connection. If set to Auto, PDL type of incoming jobs are automatically detected and sent to the appropriate interpreter. If set to PS, incoming jobs are initially sent to the PS interpreter. If the job type is not PS, the job is sent to the other interpreter. If set to PCL, incoming jobs are initially sent to the PCL interpreter. If the job type is not PCL, the job is sent to the other interpreter.
